The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development recently announced a long awaited opportunity for artists and creatives to be able to apply for the Sawiris Arts and Culture Scholarship (SACS). So, calling out all applicants — students in particular — seeking quality education abroad to enrich their talents in the vast field of arts and culture to apply now!
According to their website, the Sawiris Arts and Culture Scholarship program targets highly motivated, talented and socially engaged applicants, who are aware of the important role art plays in a flourishing and developing society. It aims at fostering these talents until they themselves are effective artists in the scene, who in return enrich their country and society with their acquired knowledge in their designated fields.
The scholarship fields include but are not limited to: music, fine arts, visual arts, digital arts, conceptual & performance arts, theatre studies, film studies, art history, art criticism, media design, curating and art management. The scholarship benefits include tuition fees, learning materials, living allowance, travel expenses and health insurance.
