Dr Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development,

observed the signing of an agreement between the Ministry’s Rowad 2030 Project and the “Plastic Bank” social foundation

to help startups and entrepreneurs through the Start-up Clinics programme.

Both sides emphasise the importance of entrepreneurship and establishing a supportive environment for it by Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Dr Ghada Khalil the Project Manager for Rowad 2030 attended the signing event,

which was presided over by

  • Minister of Planning and Economic Development Amr El-Kady
  • the Regional Director for Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa for Plastic Bank
  • and several executives from the organisation.

The Plastic Bank Foundation thrilled to collaborate with the “Pioneers 2030” programme to help one of the economy’s most essential drivers, young enterprises.

As Egypt hosts the United Nations Climate Summit COP27,

these characteristics are in their fields of work and align with the state’s vision 2030

and the state’s general orientation to pay attention to green regions and the circular economy.
