INJAZ Egypt and the US embassy recently announced the launch of their Startup Egypt Pipeline for 2019. The program is one of the largest entrepreneurship pipelines and takes a sustainable, long-term approach to entrepreneurship. It enrolls enthusiastic graduates from any field of study in Egypt, with minimal business experience; transforming them into successful entrepreneurs with innovative businesses. The end goal is to contribute to the national economy whilst generating jobs.

The embassy’s Deputy Chief of Mission Dorothy Shea stated: “We are proud to partner with INJAZ Egypt in support of this exciting opportunity for young Egyptians to bring their ideas to the marketplace. Through training, mentorship, and networking, Startup Egypt 2019 will get businesses off the ground, and support the growth of Egypt’s private sector.”

INJAZ’s Founder, Dina El Mofty stated: “The eight round of Startup Egypt will begin accepting applications from candidates by mid-November. We are so proud that this program has helped launch 65 startups, and most of them have gone on to create extremely successful businesses locally, regionally and internationally.”
