Egyptians Organize a Peaceful Protest to Stand up Against Animal Cruelty

With shocking news that Egypt will be exporting stray dogs and cats to countries that eat them roaming around, Egyptians have decided to organize a peaceful protest to say “NO!”

The stand is taking place on December 1 in front of the General Organization for Veterinary Services in Dokki, condemning the current and previous brutal measures taken against stray animals. During the stand, Egyptians will use banners with daring quotes that are meant to expose the organization’s unethical burial of live pigs, and of course, the continuous poising of stray cats and dogs.

This is the first time Egyptians take an actual serious measure against the long-standing abuse of animals. We hope this will make a difference and make the ones in charge realize the gravity of what they are doing to these innocent creatures.
