Sale of Live Poultry to be Banned in Egypt

In efforts to contain the spread of diseases and preserve the environment’s sanitation, Egyptian authorities have take the decision to ban the sale of live poultry in Cairo and Giza, starting the first of April 2019. Hamed Abdeldayem Siad, a spokesmen from the Ministry of Agriculture in Egypt, was the one to break this piece of news to the public.

Even though this law had been enacted in 2009, unfortunately, it missed a good implementation strategy.
