Last Friday, a senior official from the company, announced Mercedes-Benz’s intent to resume back production in Egypt. On his trip to Berlin, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli had been told by Member of the Divisional Board of Mercedes-Benz Cars that the multi-national manufacturer company is deliberately considering the possibility of adding additional car models in Egypt.
“Cairo is looking forward to join forces with Mercedez-Benz to manufacture self-driving and electric cars. He proposed that the company would send a delegation to consider investment opportunities in Egypt,” said Madbouli.
