CIB Becomes the First Arab Company to be Globally Acknowledged For its Gender Equality Efforts

CIB’s commitment to gender equality is making headlines. CIB has just been listed in the 2019 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index( GEI), which acknowledges companies’ efforts around the world to instigate women’s rights.

This is by far the first time an African or Arab company has been enlisted in this worldwide index. This 2019 index incorporates around 230 companies, with 10 different operating fields across 36 countries. According to Hisham Ezz Al-Arab, CIB Chairman: ” We are pleased to be recognized by a prestigious international publication for our longstanding commitment to gender equality in our daily operations and at every level of management, including our board.”
