Egypt Discusses Cooperation Opportunities in the Fields of Gas and Petroleum with the US

The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tareq el Molla, discussed with the US Charge d’Affaires in Cairo, Thomas H. Goldberger, the activities of US firms working in Egypt in the fields of searching for petroleum and gas, engineering designs and constructions.

The two parties also discussed new petroleum projects being carried out in Egypt in the fields of refining and petrochemicals, in addition to investment opportunities available for US companies to take part in such projects.
