Egyptian Ministry of Environment Sets Up Cleaning Campaign of Abu Galom National Park

It has been reported that the Egyptian Ministry of Environment has set up a wide-scale cleaning campaign of Abu Galom National Park in the South of Sinai. This campaign aims to raise awareness on the main purpose played by national parks in maintaining natural resources and biodiversity. Moreover, it aims to preserve national parks for coming generations.

Director of Abu Galom National Park has stated that the cleaning campaign started with extracting wastes from the coastal area and Madaq Al Shatae.
The wastes were moved in cooperation with the Association for the Protection of the Environment (APE) and the Dahab city municipal council.
