With water becoming a global dying resource, Egypt has decided to introduce Eco-friendly toilets across the capital, as a step forward in water conservation.

The bathrooms will have three stalls: one for men, one for women and one for people who are differently abled. Each stall will contain a water conservation system.

Custom toilets take approximately around 22 liters per flush, however, these eco-friendly toilets will consume three to six liters per flush.

Ali Abdel Aal, Cairo’s governor, publicized that by the time of the 2019 African Cup of Nations, which will take place at the end of June, not less than 30 eco-friendly toilet units will be secured across different parts of the city.
