61 year old Italian Astronaut, Paolo Nespoli, will attend Egypt’s third scientific Seminar on April 10th. Nespoli spent 137 days in space, completing his third space visit before coming back in 2017. Italian Ambassador, Giampaolo Cantini, hopes that this visit will help boost cooperation between Egypt and Italy.

Cantini added that space technology will help shed light on the issue of overpopulation in Egypt. The third scientific seminar is hosted by the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in Cairo. This signifies that Cairo is going to be this year’s headquarters for the African Space Agency.
