A new day, and unfortunately another accident, that’s even more tragic than the previous one.
A few days ago, El Sharqeya witnessed the accident of Heidi, the 15-year-old girl, who committed suicide by a poisonous pill, after being threatened with fabricated pictures by an unknown person. Her sister explained that they discovered that the perpetrators of this act are their current neighbors, a woman, who fabricated the pictures to blackmail them.
The narrow time frame between the two incidents is the most shocking. The two tragedies happened in the same way with the same tool. Sexual blackmail.
All of them led to only one result: a youngster taking how own life.
What People Should Know?
We fully understand that controlling such abusive acts may appear to be difficult or almost impossible to achieve. HOWEVER, we do believe that many steps can be taken in the scenario when someone gets exposed to such dangerous threats.
You shall first get into in-depth conversations with those surroundings, your family members, and friends.
Get them involved in what you may suffer to support with even their words.
Secondly, DON’T give space for someone to blackmail you for money.
If it happens once, it will be even harder to control.

We hope that there are more laws and provisions in handling these risky situations or any other harmful tools among the children, laws that work on preventing the harm as much as we have the strength to do.
