If you haven’t heard, Egyptian ladies have recently dominated the world and the news.

It all started when Mariam Tahoun won first place in the Prima La Musica competition in Vienna, where she competed against 100 other Austrians.

And for the first time in Muay Thai (Thai boxing) history, two Egyptians, Mai Khaled and Nabila Aladdin, won two gold medals, which went to Egypt at the World Championships held in the UAE.

Yesterday, Egyptian Azza Mahmoud AKA (Anne Aly) was sworn in as the State of Australia’s Minister of Youth,

making her the first Muslim woman to hold a cabinet role in Australia.

Finally,

we found loads of news announcing a project of four girls in the construction department at the faculty of engineering in AUC,

and their project was all about “saving energy”,

so they designed self-lighting concrete,

which absorbs sunlight during the day and lights the streets at night instead of using lamps,

what a brilliant idea, never underestimate the construction department.

Aside from that, an increasing number of Egyptian ladies are making us proud all over the world. We would like to convey our gratitude and admiration to all of them, as well as tell them how proud we are of them…
