After many successful years, the Goethe-Institut presents its annual Goethe Film Week in Egypt with a compilation of new German and Arab films, both feature and documentary. This year’s topics revolve around issues of migration, racism, homelands and foreign countries, families, children, cities and borders. The best part is that it’s free admission too.

The screenings in Cairo will take place on the premises of the Goethe-Institut in Doqqi and selected films will also be shown at the Goethe-Institut in Alexandria. The films will be translated into Arabic, German and English subtitles.
