More than 20 countries will participate in the 7th session of the International Festival of Drums and Traditional Arts. The festival will run for a week starting April 20th to the 27th. Egyptian group, Reda Troupe for Folk and Circus Arts will participate at the festival.
Reda Troupe has been around since 1959. It was founded by the talented Mahmoud Reda and has been performing in many theaters around the world. Reda Troupe has also starred in many Egyptian movies and won several international awards. The troupe’s theatrical performances are still going with new young talents.
The drum festival was launched back in 2012. Some of the countries participating at this year’s festival are: Colombia, Ghana, Greece, China, Indonesia, Congo, Ecuador, Poland and Saudi Arabia.
