The city of Aswan is getting ready to host the third edition of Aswan International Women Film Festival (AIWFF), from the 20thto the 26thof February.
Under the wing of the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Tourism, along with the support of the National Council for Women and the cinema profession association, the festival will be honoring several Egyptian actresses and other important figures from the film industry.
The festival will also comprise several workshops related to film-making, script writing and development and animation. This Festival is by far the first women’s film festival in Egypt! We can’t wait to witness the remarkableness of such an empowering event.
